About Us
Fenix Safety is a leading company in Child Restraint Systems, relying on an internal R&D Department and tooling constructions, and a testing laboratory for functional and performance tests. This allows us to cooperate with CRS manufacturers to jointly develop specific projects in a short time and with maximum efficiency. All the metal components, the core of the technology, are produced in Italy in our IATF certified supplier plant, using premium steel from the best European sources. The plastic injection, assembly of parts and complete restraint systems stitching are produced in our high-performance plant in Romania.
Our Story
The company was founded in 2006 under the name NOVARACE, located in Grugliasco, in the industrial automotive neighbourhood of Turin (Italy).
In 2009 the production moved to Romania, and in 2011 the company joined the Omsea Group (IATF certified group located in Italy, Slovakia and Poland), benefiting from a 30-year-old experience in the automotive industry.
In 2015, following a continuous plane of development and growth, the company changed its name to FENIX SAFETY and opened a new factory in Iasi (Romania) and a commercial office and distribution center in Ningbo (China), that assures fast distribution in all the Far East Market.
Product Milestones
Since the beginning we were focused towards innovation, the latest technologies and the research of advanced solutions, to guarantee the best protection and user-friendly products to avoid possible installation misuse.
In 2006 our first Gr.1 buckle, 40% lighter than anything available at that time, immediately became one of the simplest, more reliable and most appreciated on the market.
In 2008 we were the first to launch a buckle with parental alarm, to counter accidental openings caused by children.
In 2009 we patented a correct buckle tensioning indicator system to avoid the slack on the harness system.
In 2018 we created a patented Bluetooth Integrated System, to prevent the always increasing problem of children abandoned in cars. A Proprietary APP has been published (Android/iOS) to integrate even more features for the security of the child and the parents’ peace of mind.
